Even though the garden season is just ending, it is never to early to start planning for next spring.  This book is nicely divided into section (Annuals and perennials, shrubs and vines, fruits and vegetables, wildflowers, bulbs, and herbs) with full-color pictures to help you plan what will and what won’t thrive in our area.  The author is well known in the gardening world with her  newspaper column, Midwest Gardening.  It is full of tips and tricks that will make you want spring to come even before the first frost hits the garden.
