The Life-Changing magic of tidying up: the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing

Not my normal type of read, but after a couple chapters (which are really short as is the book!) I began to see why this gal is such a hot topic at the moment. Her theory basically boils down to “what brings you joy?”. She claims you have no need for nifty storage units (although I do love storage ideas) but merely keep things that bring you joy. The book gives a simple way to approach this radical way of thinking for most Americans. I have tried the theory on a couple closets (a modified version of her suggestion) and it works! So may the New Year bring you “JOY!”
