This book, like most of Terry Pratchett’s work, is a delightful ride full of satire and quick wit, fascinating and interesting characters, and intricate and cunning schemes for solving problems and making them. A different kind of redemption story, this book tells us of a man hanged under one of his many aliases, only to wake up under the unwavering gaze of Ank-Morpork’s despotic leader, who offered him, under his real name, a job as Postmaster General. Reading about this “former” con man using his many talents to revive the post office and incite corporate espionage is hilarious and something that I can really sink my teeth into!
