Hidden Talents

Martin has a problem with authority, so much so that he has been expelled from several schools and his parents don’t know what they do, so they send him to a place that is part bording school, part prison. He soon makes friends with other misfits like himself, and discovers that his new friends may be here for reasons they can’t control, like pyrokenesis. A little different than other books about finding special powers, Hidden Talents has a bit more serious and realistic tone, given the setting, and it really makes this telling of that kind of story fresh and unique.
