Daphne is surprised when an old friend/enemy Drue calls and wants her to be in her wedding. It has been six years since they had seen each other because their friendship ended in a fight. They had been on again off again friends throughout school. Drue could be cruel sometimes or be the best friend who was lots of fun to be around. So, Daphne agrees to attend the wedding after Drue tells her she is her best friend and promises a wonderful weekend on the beach. This book is about female relationships, coming to terms with who you are, and figuring out what matters most. A great summer read.
