George is a farm dog. He helps Farmer Fritz with anything he needs but he really likes to help him take an afternoon nap! That all changes when Farmer Fritz retires and sells the farm to a family from the city. George can see right away that he won’t be getting any more afternoon naps because these new farmers will need too much of his help. George shows his true talent when Little Olive goes missing and he also finds he would rather chase little girls than cows! The illustrations make this story come alive and are very funny!
